API Reference: Rate Limits by Tier
Rate limits scale with your plan. These are request-count and throughput ceilings, not per-method pricing. A heavy call like eth_getLogs counts the same as a light call like eth_blockNumber toward your quota.

A 429 response means you hit your current tier's ceiling. Back off and retry, instead of hammering the endpoint. Consider a move to the next tier if this happens under normal, not abusive, traffic. See Common Methods & Error Handling for the full error code table.
