Frequently Asked Questions
What is Instanodes?
A web3 infrastructure provider for protocol teams, developers, and enterprises. Instanodes offers managed RPC endpoints, dedicated nodes, validator nodes, rollups, and appchain development across 50+ blockchain networks, deployable without running your own DevOps.
How quickly do I deploy a node?
Typically minutes for standard node types. Select a chain, configure your endpoint, and get a live RPC URL, with no manual hardware provisioning or sync delay on your end.
Do you provide RPC endpoints for general application use, or only for specific verticals?
General use. Managed RPC endpoints across 50+ networks power DeFi protocols, wallet infrastructure, NFT marketplaces, and gaming backends alike. The endpoint works the same regardless of your application.
Do I build my own blockchain using Instanodes?
Yes, through Rollup as a Service (OP Stack, Arbitrum Orbit, Polygon CDK, ZKsync) for a rollup, or Appchain for a fully custom application-specific chain built from architecture through launch.
How much does Node as a Service cost?
Plans start free, at 20,000 requests per day and 600,000 per month. Paid tiers begin at $29 per month and scale to $169 per month for the published tiers. Enterprise pricing gets quoted for high-throughput or dedicated-node requirements. See Billing & Plans for the full breakdown.
Does Instanodes manage validator nodes?
Yes, across Ethereum, Cosmos, Polkadot, Avalanche, and other proof-of-stake networks, including MEV optimization, slashing protection, and 24/7 monitoring. See the Set Up a Validator Node guide for the setup flow.
How does Instanodes compare to shared-infrastructure RPC providers?
Shared-infrastructure providers built for individual developers and providers built for protocol teams and enterprises needing dedicated capacity are two different categories. Instanodes sits in the second group, with an emphasis on dedicated capacity, institutional validator management, custom appchain work, and contractual SLAs. The Free tier exists specifically so you test the difference before you commit.
Is Instanodes secure and compliant?
Yes. SOC 2 Type II certified, with encrypted API key management, role-based access control, network-level DDoS mitigation, and per-client infrastructure isolation. See Security & Compliance for detail.
What happens during a regional outage?
Automatic multi-region failover reroutes traffic to a healthy region in under 500 milliseconds when a region's health checks fail, without manual intervention in most cases. See Reliability & SLA.
Do I use my existing web3 library, or do I need an Instanodes-specific SDK?
Your existing library. Instanodes speaks standard JSON-RPC and WebSocket, so ethers.js, web3.js, web3.py, Hardhat, Foundry, and native clients for non-EVM chains all work without modification, only the endpoint URL changes. See Tooling.
What if the chain I need isn't listed in Chains & Networks?
Instanodes takes onboarding requests directly for chains not yet supported. Ask the team, instead of assuming the chain stays unavailable.
Do annual plans cost less than paying monthly?
Yes. Build, Basic, and Advanced tiers carry a discount over the standard monthly rate for longer commitments. See Billing & Plans or the pricing page for current rates.
